- A quick tip!
- You need to be at least level 10 and have at least 50,000 Carats to create your own guild!
To go to war against another guild, your guild master must issue a declaration of war against that guild, and the guild master from that guild must accept this challenge.
Once both guilds agree, all the involved guild members can engage each other at will. Killing another player from the warring guild does not incur the normal PK penalties. Please note that player killing is still prohibited in non-PK areas, and all the players who participate in a guild war still retain whatever penalties they previously had.
1.
Once your guild master declares war against a guild and the guild master of that guild accepts your guild's challenge, players from both guilds can freely kill each other.
The guild master of the initiating guild must click the OK button, and the guild master of the receiving guild must click the Accept button to begin the war.
2.
Since the players from the opposing guild are considered an enemy, players can fight them in the field map without having to switch to PK mode first.
3.
Killing opposing players in the field map during a guild war doesn't decrease their Moral Value points.
However, getting killed by opposing players still incurs the usual death penalties.
4.
The participating guilds can earn or lose guild points according to the outcome of the war. Any player who defeats another player from the opposing guild will earn 1 FP (If the victim doesn't have any FP upon death, the assailant doesn't get any FP).
5.
Since the players from the opposing guild are considered an enemy, players can fight them in the field map without having to switch to PK mode first."
6.
The alignment of players who participate in a guild war doesn't change when killing players from the opposing guild. However, when players are killed, the usual death penalties (for those players whose level is 11 or higher) and alignment penalties apply on maligned characters pre-war.
7.
Players can check the guilds they're currently at war with through the Guild Info Window. To propose a ceasefire to any of the warring guilds, right-click on the name of that guild.
1.
The mine takeover is an armed conflict to secure a special mine in game, which produces special minerals. Any guild who emerges as the victor will gain control of the mine for a certain period of time. The members from the guild that owns a mine are exempted from paying the entrance fee to that mine.
2.
The beginning of a takeover is announced to everyone in the channel.
3.
To participate in a mine takeover, players must talk to the Mine Keeper NPC located in front of the mine at least 20 hours before the takeover. The participation fee is 100,000 Carats. Only the guild masters from guilds that have at least 20 people registered (including the guild master) can issue a mine takeover through the Mine Keeper NPC.
4.
The takeover lasts for an hour. Whichever guild controls the Battle Gem at the end wins. To get close to the Battle Tower, you can either rush through one of the openings on the perimeter wall or destroy the battle trap which is blocking one of the entrances.
The Battle Gem is guarded by the Battle Tower. Players must destroy the tower first to capture the Battle Gem.
5.
The winner of a takeover gains control over the mine in question until the next takeover begins.
- Manage Takeover Schedule : Set the next takeover schedule.
- Check Contending Guilds : See the guilds that want to participate in the next takeover for the mine.
How to participate in a siege battle
How to apply
- 1.
Talk to the Gate Captain to apply for participation in castle siege.
- 2.
The Gate Captain standing in front of Castle Bent in Berneo is in charge.
- 3.
Application period: 00:00 GMT Wednesday to 12:00 GMT Saturday.
- 4.
The applicants: Guild masters.
- 5.
Application fee: Ten million Carats.
- 6.
Qualifications: The guild level must be 1 or above (No limitation on the number of applicants)
Siege Period
- 1.
The administrator NPC located inside Castle Bent in the Berneo map is in charge.
- 2.
Start time: 13:00 GMT Saturday.
- 3.
Battle duration: 1 hour.
Joining the siege
- 1.
Talk to the Gate Captain to enter the siege map.
- 2.
Move to the siege map through the Gate Captain.
- 3.
The siege will be announced to everyone from an hour before the start.
- 4.
All the participants must move to the siege map on their own accord. There is no auto teleport.
- 5.
The siege map is accessible before the battle, but players will be moved back to the start location when the battle begins.
- 6.
Players who join the siege after it has started spawn in different locations, depending on the side they join (attacker or defender).
- 7.
Non-participants may enter the siege map and observe the battle. Observers will spawn at the initial start location.
Winning the siege
- 1.
The guild that controls the Crystal at the end of the siege takes the castle, and is named as the winner.
- 2.
The opposing guilds must battle with each other to dominate the field. The capture and final ownership of the Crystal and Castle is applied to the guild and not to individuals.
- 3.
Takeover effects: When a guild successfully occupies the castle, the members of the guild that claimed it will spawn inside the castle. The other players will res-pawn at their respective start locations. The castle gates and Crystal Tower will be restored.
- 4.
Whichever guild occupies the castle at the end of the siege wins and takes control of the castle.
Major Strategies
Bidding for siege positions
- 1.
The siege positions provide a spawn location much closer to the castle than the default spawn location, which grants the advantage of allowing reinforcements to enter the battle faster.
- 2.
The Gate Captain (related NPC) is located in front of Castle Bent in Berneo [30 .1 / 131 .6].
- 3.
The besieging guild has the right to occupy the siege positions near the castle. This is the spawn location of the besieging guild during castle wars.
- 4.
The besieging guild master has to apply to occupy those siege positions using the Occupy Siege Positions menu.
- 5.
The final result is available at the deadline, which is 12:00 GMT Saturday, using the Confirm Siege menu from the Gate Captain.
- 6.
Bidding is in Fletta concentrate, and bidding guilds are able to see the current bid on talking to the Gate Caption.
- 7.
Bidding process: The two highest bidders will take the siege positions. Bidding guilds can increase their bid until the end of the auction.
Catapults
- 1.
Besiegers can attack the castle with siege engines.
- 2.
The catapults naturally become a high value target for the defenders, making it a focal point in battle.
- 3.
Usage: The catapult automatically reloads itself over time. The players then fire it by toppling the support. It may take time, but it's a fine tool to break down enemy gates from outside of the enemy's reach.
Outer walls
- 1.
Besiegers can enter the castle by destroying the outer walls. This can be used as a surprise attack strategy.
- 2.
The Outer walls are accessible through a small path in a recess.
How to become allies with another guild
- 1.
The guild master of a guild may make an offer of alliance to another guild by using the Guild UI (hotkey G).
- 2.
When a guild master enters and confirms the name of the guild he or she wishes to form an alliance with, the guild master of that guild will receive a pop-up window giving him/her the option of accepting the offer or not.
- 3.
If the guild master of the other guild accepts the offer, the two guilds will immediately form an alliance.
- The name of the other guild will then immediately be listed in the Allied Guild List of each guild.

-
*Notes
- A guild may form an alliance with only one guild.
- To form an alliance, the player's guild should not be part of an existing alliance.
- Alliances cannot be formed when any one of the involved guilds is currently participating in a mine takeover or a siege.
- To form an alliance, both of the two guilds should not have any scheduled mine takeovers or sieges,
or both should have scheduled for a mine takeover or a siege.
- A guild may not make an offer of alliance to a guild that is currently hostile to your own guild.
- Changes made to hostility settings made by one guild during or after the formation of the alliance
will not take any effect.
- A guild may not schedule a mine takeover or siege against a mine or castle that is owned by its ally.
- A guild may not participate in a mine takeover or siege that is taking place against a mine or
a castle which is owned by its ally.
- A guild may not dissolve an alliance if any of the guilds is currently participating in a mine takeover or a siege.
- A guild must wait 1 day before forming a new alliance after it has dissolved the previous one.
Dissolving the alliance
- 1.
To dissolve the current alliance with another guild, right click on the name of that guild in the Allied Guild List and select Cancel Alliance from the dropdown menu
- 2.
A guild must wait 1 day before forming a new alliance with another guild, including the previous ally, after they have dissolved the previous one.
- 3.
When the guild master confirms cancellation of the alliance through a confirmation window, which also explains the 1 day limitation warning, the alliance is dissolved.
- 4.
A guild may form a new alliance with ex-alliance members.
- 5.
Once the alliance has been dissolved, the two guilds will no longer share chat messages.
Alliance chat
- 1.
The members of an alliance may share their chat messages.
- 2.
To share chat messages between the members, right click on the name of the other guild as it appears in the Allied Guild List and select the appropriate menu option. Only guild masters can perform this action.
- 3.
If your guild is currently sharing chat messages, the “Cancel Chat Sharing” menu option will appear. Otherwise, the “Chat Sharing” menu option will appear.
- 4.
This chat sharing feature becomes active when one of the guilds has turned it on.
- 5.
However, if one of the guilds turns it off, neither can share chat messages.
Alliance and mine takeovers or sieges
- - A guild may not schedule a mine takeover or a siege against a mine or a castle that is owned by its ally.
- - When the two guilds participate in a mine takeover or siege, their members are considered as
being in the same guild.
- - Members of the same alliance participating in a takeover or siege could now join forces against their enemies.
Allied Guilds would also share the same guild name colors.
- - The following rules apply to the allied guild when participating in a siege:
- 1. When the ally defends the castle
- The privilege of the opening/closing of the Castle Gates is shared.
- When the siege is not in progress, the re-spawning location is shared when entering the siege map
by talking to the Gate Captain.
- The re-spawning location is shared when entering the siege map at the beginning of the siege.
- The re-spawning location is shared when entering the siege map by talking to the Gate Captain during the siege.
- The re-spawning location is shared when the allied guild has lost control of the castle.
- 2. Winning
- If your guild has not applied for the siege, your guild cannot claim ownership of the castle.
- When the allied guild wins, ownership of the castle is given to the respective guild only,
and is not shared with allies.
- When the allied guild wins the siege, the re-spawning and the privilege of the opening/closing
of the castle gates are shared with the allies only.
- 3. General rules
- An allied guild who participates in a mine takeover or a siege without application is limited
on claiming its ownership.
- Being an ally is not considered as a right when claiming ownership of a mine or a castle.
